Unforgettable Tribute to Healthcare Professionals Dealing with Grief, and Global Pandemic Reviews
Surprise, A Pleasant One
A good read. Unforgettable Tribute To Healthcare Professionals Dealing with Grief, and Global Pandemic by Simeon Johnson was a surprise, a pleasant one. Our medical staff, no matter the post, deserve much more than we're giving them. The author talks about stuff we all need to overcome, some or other, we all have demons to fight.

So Glad This Book Came To My Attention
So glad this book came to my attention. As we start with the 9/11 attack and we continue with depression, rejection, obesity, etc. the author covered a small part of each. These issues are too extensive for a few pages but still, the author shared priceless advice and data over them. I think the book has value and it is worth the time.

An Astonishing Book!
I started reading this book with some reserve. When I saw it I was just interested in how the author will tribute to medical professionals and how on earth he could fill a whole book with it. But, as it turned out, this book was filled with astonishingly major matters and it was extremely rich in information. I'm pleased I read it!

I Need Books Like This To Keep Me Up!
I found the book fascinating. The author managed to mix respect for professionals, inspirational read, and facts about various themes in just one not-so-long book. As a person who had struggled with low self-esteem and several other "fun" things, I need books like this to keep me up and to keep my inner peace. This is why I'm rating the book five stars and I will recommend it to friends and family.

Informative Read
Unforgettable Tribute To Healthcare Professionals Dealing with Grief, and Global Pandemic by Simeon Johnson was a nice read. Informative. I felt the author's wish to guide and help people is admirable. Even though in the title it is said that was a tribute it is more of a motivational/informative book. Read this book and be ready for unexpected things to appear... like stem cells or tech.

A Myopic Life Resonated From The Brink of The Abyss Reviews
This Was Thought-Provoking For Me
A very different memoir from what I'm used to. Simon Johnson has an interesting style, he added scriptures as testimonials to the events of his own life. He put so much thought into every experience and connected it all with God. This was thought-provoking for me. I rarely analyze my misfortunes or blessings in such detail and way. Maybe I should start. A big thanks to the author for sharing his story and for preaching love, friendship, and humanity. The world needs more of these things!

Reading The Memoir Was A Great Experience!
As I read the description of this memoir I thought it would be interesting to get to know the author. He mentioned hardships and traumatic childhood, suicidal thoughts, and miraculous transformation. He also says "Who, then would have said God blessed Simeon?" which gave me the impression he himself wasn't so sure of his blessings. The description is an accurate one - the memoir is mainly about the author realizing how blessed he is and how he should be a good man and faithful to God. In the beginning, it is mentioned that he didn't kill himself because he was afraid he'll go to H*ll but as the years pass it was shown how the focus is redirected - the author is not doing things because of fear anymore but because of love for God. Reading the memoir was a great, emotional experience.

Fabulous Memoir Filled With Love For Jesus Christ
Fabulous memoir filled with Love for Jesus Christ. I will read more from this author. He understands God's plan and he walks on the path called life with faith and humbleness. As a man of color who had been brought up by a poor family, with no mother and only his sister to support his faith, he went through sin and realized it was not the path for him. I was delighted to read as his faith grew and he had more evidence about the plan for him.

I Resonated With Most Of What He Said.
Read for Christians. I relished the author's life tale. I was delighted by his knowledge of the Bible and the thoughts he has about the scriptures. Mr. Johnson has transformed in a span of years and came to the truth by himself. He mentioned some of my favorite scriptures and he shared his opinion and his experience with them. I resonated with most of what he said.

Interesting Book, Too Many Scriptures
At the beginning of this book, I was really interested in the author. The start was sad and dramatic, he saw what any child shouldn't see. As I moved forward in the book I felt that the author lost track of the chronological events, what I mean is that I was confused and I needed to go back a little to see if I understood right. I found the scriptures were too much for the content. The author did have a very full life, difficult yet fulfilling. I was compelled to finish the book to see what happened to him and I'm glad he found happiness and stability in his life.

I have seen his TV endorsement a lot of times in Montego. When I bought his book I was shocked to know he is also from Jamaica. I am proud of my fellow Jamaican making a name in America. I am happy to know that he has an understanding why writers should make sacrifice invest heavily in marketing to effectively spread their advocay all across the world and in the rewards of their sacrifice will bring back more than waht they have invested on. God bless you Simeon mi Luv yuh websites

“ Inspirational - A Great Book to Read and Pass On to Others”
This book highlights what too often gets overlooked in society: the work that the ‘little guy’ does. It reminds you to give credit to people that don’t receive recognition, that may be on the lower rungs. These people form the fabric of our society and our lives would be much worse, if not completely unmanageable, without their help. In sum, treat everyone with respect.
I highly recommend this book to everyone. Buy it for yourself or as a gift – you won’t regret it!

“Take this book to heart!”
I’ve not been a student for a very long time and read Chris Korb’s book just to see how it’s observations compared with my personal experience as someone who occasionally entertains residents of eldercare facilities. Everything I’ve seen, and been astonished by, happens over and over again as the wonder of music helps lift people out of depression, restores (at least for a while) memory and memories and brings joy to people who are often very lonely, sad and confused. I don’t play guitar or piano but do sing and join with a local jazz duo to visit and entertain these beautiful elderly people. When we begin to sing they come alive! They sing along as words come back to them to songs they’ve got tucked away inside. Those of you who are considering making careers in music therapy will be doing terrific, meaningful work. Go for it!

“Worthwhile to Read!”
I gave several copies of this book to a local teen group home. The kids really found it helpful and inspirational. One said it made her feel positive about things. Easy to pick up and start reading.

Pacific Book Reviews
You rarely have a chance to read an incomparable book. I’m not sure that it fits a genre
besides the most basic descriptor of non-fiction. It is not entirely clear if the stories in
this book are non-fiction or entirely a figment of the author’s imagination but they are
detailed in a way that leads one to believe they are true. Either way, this is an exciting
book that you will want to know more about.
You’re a Worthwhile Person in More Ways than a Million’s structure is incredibly
intriguing to me because it works, and it is clear and concise, but it is not linear in any
way. The author tells stories in every chapter about everyday people whose lives make
a difference. At the end of the chapter, the people in the stories are also compared to
others in similar fields to remind us how vital everyone is in our community. The book
also celebrates black inventors, which was eye-opening. It was surprising and
refreshing to learn that black scientists and inventors invented many items that we use
every day. Each chapter also begins and ends with famous quotes from notable people
in history.
The angles that are taken in this book to show the importance of everyone’s worth are
enlightening. It is great to see blue collar workers celebrated in the same way we
celebrate doctors, lawyers, and politicians. It is like the author, Simeon Johnson, can
feel the heartbeat of America and what makes the whole country tick. This book oozes
with empathy and will automatically tap into your soul with that hopeful energy.
Simeon W. Johnson is an accomplished author, and it shows in this polished piece of
work. It takes someone of extraordinary talent to combine three books into one and
make it flow as well as this one does. The book is short but, that is fantastic because it
is the kind of book that you will want to read multiple times. The positivity that Mr.
Johnson brings with this book seems to be sorely missing in our world right now.
It is my sincere hope that this book sees mass circulation. It needs to be read by
everyone across the country, from high schools to the capital, to remind everyone that
we all have a purpose in this world, and not one of us is better than the next. I can’t
endorse this book enough, and I know that I am a better person for reading it.

"[E]very man or woman, no matter what their occupation, is a worthwhile person in more ways than a million." - US BOOK REVIEWS
The media today bombards the American public with images
of the rich and famous—people living charmed lives and supposedly achieving
great things. U.S. society worships such individuals, and countless research
studies have pointed out that envy and dissatisfaction are commonplace
emotions for a vast majority of people. However, in this collection, Johnson
takes the time to remind readers that this is not the whole story. What the
media offers is a skewed and deeply flawed picture that fails to celebrate the
ordinary men and women who help make the world go round. This compilation
offers up stories drawn from the lives of such common people—bus drivers,
baggage handlers, hairdressers, fishmongers—as they help keep New York City
ticking along. Each story is not only a deeply entertaining glimpse into a
fascinating life but also a reminder that everyone is interconnected, and each
life is special, important, and unique.
Johnson’s compilation is a beautiful volume in so many ways. The stories
themselves are heartwarming, reminding readers that the people and
experiences many people disparage and take for granted are complex, joyful,
and fascinating. At the same time, Johnson’s message is critical. There is so
much research demonstrating that striving for unattainable perfection is
detrimental to mental health and happiness. The author’s book encourages
readers to break that trend, embrace satisfaction, and celebrate themselves.
The stories are also beautifully written, with lively prose that gives life to the
myriad characters. Overall, this is an outstanding collection and well worth
diving into.
